A 3-generations-old family ranch is home to Yvonne and her husband, Glen.  Together, they raise cattle and quarter horses near Clearfield South Dakota.

A rising star in the world of cowboy poetry, Yvonne performs throughout the upper Midwest, captivating audiences in her wake.  She is fast becoming one of the most published cowgirl poets in the West.

Her poetry reflects everyday experiences that arise while sharing the range with Glen & their neighbors.  Mostly humorous in nature, her poems take a turn toward the serious side, expecially the stories of her mother's and grandmothers' lives.  From homesteading to the present, Yvonne writes about women on the ranches of the
Great Plains.

Janet Parkhurst
Marty works on a ranch between
Merriman and Cody Nebraska.  He has cowboyed and ranched all of
his life.  With this lifetime of subject matter, Marty writes and recites poetry
from his ranching experiences.  Whether it's breaking colts, calving cows or
feeding hay with a team, his lifestyle reflects the tales he loves to share.

He performs for a wide variety of audiences throughout  the west.  And with many different talented people.

Marty feels passionately that we must keep our heritage alive with the time-honored traditions of the American Cowboy.  He tells us stories of the days when cowboys were kings and also the contemporary cowboy way of life he leads.  A life that is still out there today, followed by ranch families all over the
American West.
